Driver's age

21 to 99 years.

Young driver's age: 18 to 20 years. Charge 330 NAD per day. Includes 15% tax

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

No cross border rentals allowed to MW, MZ, ZB and AO. All cross border rentals are subject to a fee of NAD 1375.00 (incl tax)excluding ZA, LS and SZ. If the customer takes the vehicle across the border and returns it to Namibia this fee will apply. however, if drops off in a neighbouring country the cross border fee is not charged. ZA, LS, SZ and BW: A letter of authority for cross border rentals must be requested and obtained by the customer at the time of collection of vehicle. Every vehicle going into one of the above mentioned countries must have "NAM" sticker on the back of the vehicle. The customer is required to verify this before leaving the AVIS location.
